The BluePrint Toolset® was created in 2013. The BluePrint Toolset® is a leading provider of innovative diagnostic tools designed to help organizations achieve their goals. Leveraging over 30 years of working in culture and leadership coaching, it was created to modernize and transform past diagnostic models into a more relevant tool for today’s leaders.
The developers of The BluePrint Toolset® include Michael O’Brien, who has spent the last 30 years as a data-driven consultant, working with over 4,000 leaders from around the world. From his viewpoint, he was able to create a measurement model that provides easily understood performance tracking for individuals, teams, leaders and organizations. Working with Michael on the creation of the BluePrint Toolset is Dr. Amy Young, a professor at the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. Both pride themselves on the Toolset being not only academically sound, but easily actionable for participants seeking to drive their growth and get improved results personally and professionally.

As a consultant and executive coach since 1985, Michael unravels the complexities of organizations into easy-to-understand interrelationships. Michael’s diverse background in finance, economics and human behavior enable him to take the seemingly unpredictable relationship side of business and make it tangible and manageable. This clear understanding of corporate cultures has allowed Michael to lead some of the world’s top companies to new perspectives of their strengths and of their challenges, as well as provided one-on-one coaching opportunities to over 4,000 senior executives. Michael has leveraged this gift of discernment by establishing strategic relationships with consulting organizations around the world, as their culture and leadership expert.
Starting as a Registered Nurse at the bedside, and working through various roles in both the public and the private healthcare sector, Ali endeavored to find a way to bring joy and engagement to her peers.
After completing an MBA in 2018, Ali worked as a consultant and coach with a boutique consultancy that leveraged The BluePrint Toolset to drive changes in Leadership, Culture, and Team engagement. In 2022, Ali became part of The BluePrint Toolset ownership group, and was honored to be appointed President and CEO as the organization undertook several operational changes including automation, and a new strategic direction.
Building joy in work and communities is not just a career for Ali, but also a passion. Actively involved in several community organizations, Ali is dedicated to improving the lives of all. With a focus on developing leadership skills for young women, and other groups who have been historically disenfranchised, Ali meets people and teams where they are and helps create a roadmap to success.
DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND APPLICATION
Amy M. Young is a faculty member at the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan and currently serves as the faculty director of the Center for Positive Organizations Consortium. She is also an adjunct research professor in Michigan Medicine Department of Radiology where she studies organizational factors that foster employee wellbeing within healthcare settings. She received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan.
In addition to her work within the university, Young enjoys using science to identify practical solutions for companies and organizations. She is the co-creator of The BluePrint ToolsetÒ designed to measure beliefs at the leadership, organizational, and individual level that are key for developing positive work environments. Based on the fields of positive psychology and organizational change, these tools are currently being used internationally to enhance employee wellbeing, organizational performance, and corporate value.
She has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies in the financial, manufacturing, consumer products, automotive, and health care industries and has consulted for companies such as Kellogg, Honeywell, PwC, Abbott Pharmaceuticals, UTC, AMEX, Unilever, and many others.

With over a decade of experience in the technology industry, Taras has earned a reputation as an expert in his field, consistently driving innovation and spearheading transformative projects.
As a passionate advocate for data-driven decision-making, Taras thrives on unraveling the intricacies of complex data structures and making them palatable and easy to understand. His deep understanding of algorithms and data organization allows him to uncover hidden insights and develop cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible.

Charmin is the Director of Operations and Customer Relations for the BluePrint Toolset®. She specializes in helping clients get results in their lives, personally and professionally, by utilizing the proven strategies, education, and tools developed by The BluePrint Toolset®. Relying on lessons learned from her years of being a business owner, Charmin’s work focuses on making positive workplaces through career planning in the workplace, executive coaching and creating high performance work cultures. Her forte’ is helping people and organizations shift from a “have to” workplace to a “want to” workplace, bringing Joy in the process.
Charmin is an experienced business owner, career development professional, executive coach, performance consultant and professional speaker. Since the mid-2000’s, Charmin has assisted individuals and organizations in achieving their personal and professional goals through career counselling, facilitating, and performance management consulting.

With an extensive background in customer service and a degree and post-graduate diploma specializing in communication, Alex prides herself on building and maintaining excellent relationships with her clients. Nazar is an innovative developer with a decade of experience working on web applications, ranging from simple landing pages to complex distributed systems. He thrives on the ever-evolving nature of programming, embracing the constant discovery that comes with each new challenge. At The Blueprint Toolset, Nazar plays a critical role in shaping tools that drive cultural transformation, ensuring they are not only functional but also intuitive and scalable.
Outside of work, Nazar enjoys participating in pub quizzes—having even hosted one in the past. He’s a fan of science fiction and detective novels, listens to a lot of music and stand-up comedy, and shares his home with three cats and a dog. Though he admits he’s not the best driver, his love for learning and discovery extends beyond the digital world.
